The Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) 2016

The Blue Knight advances to National Schools Press Conference (NSPC)

A pen, matched with some distinctive writing prowess, can definitely get one to places.

With sheer talent and brainpower, student journalists from Blue Knight (BK), the official student publication of the Ateneo de Davao University - Junior High School, bagged several awards in the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) 2016, held in Cateel, Davao Oriental last January 6-9.

Over 3000 campus journalists and school paper advisers from the ten divisions of Region XI gathered for this year’s press conference. Davao Oriental Governor Corazon Malanyaon described the event as historical, even pronouncing it as the biggest ever held in Cateel.

Sa Kaharian ng Araw

Ang dulang “Sa Kaharian ng Araw” ay tungkol sa paglalakbay ng isang kabataan (Ponce) na may matayog na pangarap sa buhay kaya’t handang gawin ang lahat upang makamit ito. Kasama niya sa paglalakbay ang matalik ngunit nakababatang kaibigan (Paolo) na labis-labis ang pagpapahalaga sa kaibigan at sa mithiin nito. Para marating ang Kaharian ng Araw na may pangakong tagumpay sa buhay, kinakailangan nilang dumaan sa iba pang kahariang may kanya-kanyang pagsubok. Tutugunan ng magkaibigan ang lahat ng hamon dahil natitiyak nilang magtatagumpay sila at mararating ang Kaharian ng Araw.

Regional Math and Science Fair Winners

The Mathematics Department is proud of the performance of all four students to the Regional Math & Science Fair. The event was held last November 25, 2015 at Panabo National High School, Panabo City.

AdDU-JHS The Blue Knight victorious in Division Schools Press Conference

Ateneo de Davao University Junior High School journalists bagged 12 wins and 4 special awards in this year’s Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) with the theme “The Role of 21st Century Campus Journalists in Upholding Good Governance, Leadership, and Transparency”, held at the Brokenshire College of Davao last Oct. 27-28.
Students from over 100 public and private schools (elementary and secondary levels) demonstrated their skills in writing and talents in broadcasting in this year’s DSPC. The top five contenders in each individual category and the first place in team categories qualify to the Regional Press Conference (RSPC)
